SHCS Technology Program: The School Technology Program, which is a partnership with Boston University and the University of Richmond, is off to a great start! Students in grades K5 through 8 have been hard at work learning new applications in Microsoft Office. The integrated, project-based curriculum is designed to prepare them for college and career. As part of the program, students and their families also have access to hundreds of qualified online resources. Families of students in grades 6 through 8 will love the individual Technology Resource Center account that each student and family will have access to as part of the program. Students will develop and store a personal portfolio that may be accessed anywhere with an Internet connection. Additionally, they will be able to access all online resources and have the use of a terrific citation engine that will greatly assist them as they complete papers and projects. Watch for your child's completed project(s) to come home soon! |
